Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Radiologic Technologist for a position at FCI/FSL Elkton in Lisbon, OH. The role involves performing X-ray exams, operating GE Definium 800/5000 and Fuji radiographic equipment, and ensuring image quality and QA procedures within a correctional setting.

You will process and QC digital images, maintain filing for patient reports, and collaborate with health care providers to deliver high-quality radiographic services in a secure environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a Rad Tech program that qualifies for state licensure/certification.
  • Three letters of reference.
  • Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, TB test or chest radiography, CPR certification.
  • Training in radiation physics, biology, health/safety, X-ray films/digital radiography, image quality, and radiographic techniques meeting or exceeding 42 C.F.R. Part 75 requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Able to perform all requested X-ray examinations ordered by the health care providers of FCI/FSL Elkton.
  • Knowledge and use of GE Definum 800 and Definium 5000 digital x-ray machines between the FCI/FSL.
  • Perform quality assurance protocol weekly maintenance.
  • Knowledge and use of Fuji, Dri-Pix 5000 image copier for digital radiological equipment.
  • Alter and QC digital images and send digitally through a MedWeb and StatRad internet system.
  • Maintian paper filing system for patient encounters and final reports.
  • Be able to work in correctional enviornment.

Hours of Performance

Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
  • Able to perform all requested X-ray examinations ordered by the health care providers of FCI/FSL Elkton.
