Job summary

VITAL ORTHOPEDIC & SPINE INSTITUTE seeks a Radiology Technician to prepare patients, adjust equipment, and capture accurate images. You will also help maintain radiology equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and manage daily supply inventories. Travel to nearby locations is required.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Experience with charting is a plus, and Spanish-speaking skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail. We will need this person to travel to our other locations nearby.

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
• C-Arm knowledge use for pain management procedures.
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient's chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
