Job summary

Atlantic Mobile Imaging Services in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a Lead Tech to guide the radiology team. You will supervise training for new techs, provide ongoing support to all X-ray staff, and ensure QA reviews and fleet maintenance records are up to date.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, and has attention to detail with experience in medical charting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
• Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment

Supervisor Job duties consist of the following in additon to general job skills

• Oversee training on new techs
• Ongoing support to all X-Ray techs
• QA Monthly review
• Oversee Tech Fleet and maintence records.
• Oversee Machines making sure they are functioning and report any concerns

Job Summary

We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.
