Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards. The role interfaces with patients and staff to ensure quality imaging and timely service, with responsibilities including image transmission to PACS and participation in PI/QC activities.

Position requires ARRT-R, state licensure, fluoroscopy permit, and BCLS (AHA); at least 1 year of radiology

Overview

• Department: Imaging
• Schedule: Part-time, days
• Facility: Prime Healthcare- St Joseph Hospital
• Location: 77 N Airlite St, Elgin IL

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 2. ARRT-R is required.
• 3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 4. Current BCLS (AHA).
• 5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• 6. Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $26.35 to $38.17.
