Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Radiology Technician for full-time evenings. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, and assist physicians in diagnosis and care.

New grads are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship, cross-training, and flexible scheduling in a high-volume hospital setting within our network.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• BCLS certification required (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to dept. protocols and regulations.
• Interface with customers to fulfill imaging needs and ensure safety.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and transmits images to PACS.

A Radiology Tech performs medical imaging, ensures patient safety, and assists doctors in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 2. ARRT‑R is required.
• 3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 4. Current BCLS (AHA).
• 5. At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• 6. Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.32 to $41.33.
