Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day-shift, full-time Urgent Care Radiology Technician and Medical Assistant in Albuquerque, NM. You will perform routine diagnostic imaging under licensed providers and support the department with clerical tasks.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or graduate of an accredited radiologic program, BLS within 14 days, ARRT eligibility, NM license, and CPR. Temporary licenses must become permanent within one year.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of Accredited Radiologic Program.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM; and CPR.
  • Temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
  • Candidates licensed before 1972 in NM are grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area as requested by a licensed medical provider.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • May provide clerical support for the department including filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry.

  • Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • May provide clerical support for the assigned department to include, but not limited to: filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM; and CPR. Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.
