Job summary

Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM seeks a full-time CT Technician (Day shift) to perform CT imaging procedures and support a busy radiology department.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, NM licensure within a year, ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent, and BLS. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• One year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• ARRT/ARDMS or equivalent registration.
• New Mexico licensure within 1 year of hire; maintain licensure and registry.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures.
• Provides clerical support to the department (records, phones, scheduling).
• Adheres to policies and safety regulations to protect patients.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Medical Center (LMC), in the heart of Albuquerque, is an acute care hospital providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services. LMC recently acquired New Mexico's first Intuitive da Vinci 5 surgical system, demonstrating its commitment to the most advanced technology available in minimally invasive surgery. LMC has 263 licensed beds.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography imaging procedures.
• May provide clerical support to the assigned department, including but not limited to maintaining records, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent.
• Basic Computer skills; Proficient with pressure injectors; Cross-sectional anatomy; Sterile techniques and patient monitoring. Radiation safety.
• One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Full State of New Mexico licensure is required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree.
• One year of experience as a CT Technologist.
