Job summary

Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist assistant to support imaging staff by preparing patients for exams and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

The role requires excellent communication, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced imaging environment. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from noon to midnight, with a typical schedule of 20 hours per week, and an hourly pay range provided by the site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Caregivers required.
• Preferred experience in patient care or customer service.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for imaging exams and ensure comfort and safety.
• Support imaging technologists during procedures and transfer patients.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate important information to care providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and ensure safe handling of patients.
