Job summary

Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and general radiology procedures at the Sussex Campus. The role requires preparing rooms, educating patients, and ensuring safety and accuracy of imaging workflows.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring proper documentation and charging. Weekend shift Fri–Mon with added hourly stipend, full‑time status in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology.
• BLS certification and CT competency orientation (within 4 months for CT track).
• One year radiology experience or new graduate with CT program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and patient; disinfect equipment after each use.
• Educate patient about procedures and obtain consent; verify ICD-10 codes.
• Perform CT/General radiology procedures per protocol; monitor patient; assist radiologists.
• Ensure quality images and review before PACS release; maintain competence with HIS/RIS/PACS.
• Run daily pending work reports to ensure proper charging.
• Maintain supplies and stock room; alert when par levels fall.
• Other duties within scope of responsibilities.
