Intermountain Health seeks an EMT Radiology Technologist Assistant to support imaging teams in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves preparing patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety, and assisting technologists throughout imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, assisting transfer on/off tables, coordinating care, transporting patients, and potential IV insertion upon competency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for caregivers.
• Preferred experience in patient care or customer service.
• IV insertion proficiency - as required by site.
• EMT License is preferred/required depending on site.

Responsabilités

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Prepare patient for the exam and assist during Imaging procedures.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and between rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other care providers.
• Transport patients to/from the Imaging department and ensure comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
