San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, Colorado is seeking a full-time Rad Tech Assistant to join our Imaging Services team. You will interact with patients and staff, support imaging workflows, and ensure courteous, accurate patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, reviewing radiologist orders, assisting with clerical tasks, and acting as Imaging Services secretary when needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication with all co-workers, patients, and guests.
• Greet patient/visitors in a courteous, welcoming manner.
• Transport patients to and from imaging services and patient rooms when necessary.
• Read radiologist reports daily and verify that the order matches the exam and the side.
• Act as Imaging Services secretary when needed, including answering the phone and scheduling patients as necessary.
