Job summary

University Health System is seeking a patient-facing Radiology Support role in Texas. You will assist the radiology technologist, ensuring patient safety and comfortable care while expediting procedures and upholding our Guest Relations Program.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and some healthcare exposure; CPR certification is required for this role and prior radiology experience is a plus. This is an on-site position in Selma, Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months experience as a nursing attendant, patient transporter or other related health care experience preferred.
• Experience in a radiology working environment is preferred, with knowledge of safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist the radiology technologist in various procedures to expedite patient flow.
• Recognize patient physical limitations and provide appropriate support to ensure safety.
• Promote the University Health System Guest Relations Program.
