Job summary

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a Radiology Assistant I for night shifts (Mon.-Thu., 9p-6:30a), 36 hours per week. This role provides general radiology support under supervision, handling patient care and radiology duties in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires knowledge of information systems and computer literacy, plus a current BLS certification. Responsibilities include using radiology equipment and maintaining relevant certifications as required by the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective patient care while performing duties of Radiology Tech Assistant.
• Utilize and effectively use all Radiology equipment and software in the performance of daily responsibilities.
• Maintain certifications and education requirements of the hospital and accrediting body.
• Display consistent proficiency in using AIDET when communicating with patients, visitors, physicians, peers, managers, volunteers, internal and external customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
