Responsibilities

• Explain examination procedure to patients and prepare them for the exam.
• Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by a physician and follow department protocols.
• Regulate equipment settings to obtain diagnostic images while ensuring radiation safety.
• Prepare procedure room and replenish stock as needed.
• Document study information in the radiology information system (RIS) and PACS.
