Job summary

Carson Valley Health is seeking a Radiology Tech on a full-time basis. You will independently perform diagnostic x-ray exams, operate x-ray and related equipment, and ensure high-quality radiographs while applying ALARA principles.

The role requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program graduate, NV state radiology license, ARRT RT certification (within 90 days), and current BLS. Excellent patient and interdepartmental communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• NV State radiology license required.
• ARRT certificate required; RT (R). (Must obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams with minimal supervision.
• Operate x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray and c-arm equipment.
• Ensure high-quality radiographs using ALARA principles.
• Transfer patients and position for appropriate exams.
• Review orders and physician referrals for correct exam.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff.
