UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Radiology support role to assist patients and clinicians in the Radiology department. You will coordinate patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and support technologists during procedures, including portable x-ray rounds.

The role emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and accurate scheduling while adhering to safety and sterile protocols. A high school education and BLS certification are preferred or required within 30 days of hire.

Competenze

• Knowledge of basic office and patient care procedures.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days after hire.

Mansioni

• Coordinates patient flow and prepares patients for exams; reports information to resources.
• Uses computer systems to verify patient information and prints daily schedules; assists in scheduling exams.
• Prepares rooms with equipment; assists technologists with handling and sterile technique; cleans equipment.
• Assists during portable x-ray rounds with positioning equipment and patients as directed.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to patient needs and assists patients with mobility and comfort.
