Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Imaging Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to support radiology and nursing staff. You will perform non-technical, patient- and procedure-related duties in a fast-paced imaging department, ensuring accurate data entry, patient checks, and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification
• Good communication and discretion with patients and staff
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy
• Proficiency with commonly used office software and keyboard skills
• Good organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, staff and public; answer calls and schedule appointments
• Enter patient information and verify demographics and insurance
• Assist technologists and nurses in pre/post procedure setup and patient care
• Process admissions, discharges, and prepare patient charts and forms
• Maintain supplies and support charting, records, and billing processes
