Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Medical Assistant to support radiologic technologists and nursing staff during patient exams. The role includes clerical tasks, room stocking, assisting patients, and coordinating exam scheduling in the Radiology Information System (Radiant).

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with LNA or comparable medical experience preferred. Hospital experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologic technologists, nurses and radiologists with patient exams.
• Stock rooms and aid patients to and from exam rooms.
• Schedule exams in the radiology information system (Radiant).
• Arrange and schedule inpatients for appointments and transport patients to the radiology department.
• May be trained to start IVs in certain modalities.
