Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic or MRI technology program.
• Certification/registration with ARRT, ARDMS, or AMRIT is required or preferred.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily activities of the assigned imaging department, including budget and personnel.
• Acts as liaison between the department and referring physicians’ offices, ensuring care quality and regulatory compliance.

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician's offices.

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.


• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board;


• OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT);


• OR Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS);


• OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT;


• OR Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT;


• OR Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT;


• OR Registration as a Mammography Technologist by ARRT.


• Three (3) years of clinical experience.


• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of supervisory experience.
