Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to oversee X-Ray resources and drive daily operations and continuous improvement within the radiology department.

The role focuses on developing staff through education, training and mentoring while spending approximately 75% of time in direct patient care, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate degree preferred; ARRT-approved Radiography program required.
• Minimum of three years radiology experience.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred.
• ARRT radiography certification (RT(R)) and applicable state licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Manage X-Ray resources and provide leadership to ensure smooth daily flow and continuous improvement of core processes.

The Radiology Supervisor manages X-Ray resources and provides leadership and oversight to ensure smooth and coordinated daily flow and continuous improvement of core processes.

The Radiology Supervisor leads the professional growth and development of each team member through education, training, mentoring, and guidance. The Radiology Supervisor will spend 75% of time in the patient care area.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in radiology, required.
  • Minimum two years experience in supervisory experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required. Applicable state licensure, required.
