Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support patient flow in the medical imaging department. You will transfer patients, assist with positioning, and prepare supplies on a sterile field for procedures, while protecting patient privacy and dignity.

The role requires high school diploma, BLS, and a preference for 1 year in medical imaging. Work is PRN per diem in the radiology department; flexibility for shifts and campuses is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in medical imaging preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates imaging procedures throughout the workday to maintain patient flow.
• Assists radiology staff with patient transfer and positioning.
• Ensures exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked before exams.
• Completes scanning and storage of exams in PACS.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports to supervisor.
