Job summary

CHRISTUS Health’s Radiology Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and help facilitate smooth patient flow at multiple campuses in Louisiana.

The role requires flexibility to work different shifts, troubleshoot equipment, participate in QA, and uphold safety and imaging standards while adhering to CHRISTUS Health values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• Radiography (R) by ARRT and state licensure required.

• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care by regulatory entities.
• Performs examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within licensed scope and competencies.
• Demonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and campuses as needed.
• Ensures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS; follows PACS downtime procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports to appropriate personnel; conducts follow-up as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
