Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week assignment in Hartsville, SC. The role performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing with emphasis on cardiovascular studies.

Candidates must be registered or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Technologist, or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Sonographer. BLS through the American Heart Association is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
• Must be registered or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Technologist, or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer and Registered Vascular Sonographer.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• Echo tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies including echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex, and peripheral vascular scans.
• Maintain patient safety and image quality, document findings in the HIS/RIS.
• Complete necessary registry within one year of employment.

Radiology - Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech

Description:The Echo/Vascular sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system.These tests include echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral vascular studies.Sonographers must complete the necessary registry within one year of employment.Candidates should have experience in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or contract role.
