Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH seeks an Imaging Services Coordinator for full-time first shift (8 hours daily, 40 hours weekly) to support the Radiology Department. You will coordinate patient preparation, reminders, and scheduling, review orders, and manage outside imaging studies using PACS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience working with electronic health records required.
• Minimum of two years in a healthcare office, hospital, medical imaging department, or physician practice preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Experience with radiology scheduling, PACS, or imaging workflows preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office skills.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient preparation, reminders, scheduling needs, and general questions.
• Review imaging orders and obtain missing or corrected information from physician offices.
• Retrieve, transfer, and manage outside imaging studies and reports using PACS.
• Coordinate communication among patients, providers, radiologists, technologists, and hospital departments.
• Support mammography reminders, tracking, outside image retrieval, and MQSA documentation.
• Provide administrative support, including phones, correspondence, scheduling, records, and purchasing.
• Support quality, regulatory, accreditation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, customer service, confidentiality, and teamwork.
