Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• 1+ years of customer service or Healthcare related experience.
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate and updated patient information.
• Maintain an average of 65+ inbound calls daily and monitor care continuity.
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service.
• Schedule radiology procedures in an organized and efficient manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures.
• File and maintain medical records.
• Confirms and schedule appointments and answer calls promptly.
• Perform referral documentation promptly.
• Assist with follow-up scheduling and obtain lab results when needed.
• Adhere to Optum employee policies and coordinate with the care team.
