Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Washington. You will answer phones, schedule patient examinations, and collect necessary insurance information. This is a full-time role with standard 8 AM–5 PM hours, Monday through Friday, and includes DailyPay access.

You will manage data entry, coordinate with referring offices, and ensure smooth, accurate scheduling for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to handle multi-level phone system with high call volume.
• Typing proficiency and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Schedules patient examinations according to company policy.
• Obtains and records accurate personal, financial and insurance information.
• Ensures patient data is entered into information systems completely and accurately.
• Informs patients of financial responsibilities, preparation needs and transportation.
• Communicates scheduling changes to technologists to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintains up-to-date database on referring physicians.
• Provides backup coverage for front office as needed.
