Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team across imaging centers. You will administer injections, monitor patients, draw specimens, and assist with post-biopsy care, while safeguarding patient information and on-site medications.

You will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure safe, efficient care in a fast-paced setting. You must hold an active state RN license and ACLS certification, with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS certification required.
• RN degree (Associates or Bachelors) in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with hypersensitivity reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs as needed.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI; comply with policies and legal requirements.
• Safeguard medications and maintain secure patient portals and cash handling.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and colleagues.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and empathetically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
