RadNet in Towson seeks a Registered Nurse to contribute to high-quality patient care within a radiology-focused clinical setting. You will administer injections, monitor patients, manage IV access, draw specimens, and support safety and HIPAA compliance while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, ACLS certification, and a nursing degree, ready to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN).

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Perform post-biopsy vital sign checks.
• Access central lines/ports and initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with hypersensitivity reactions and provide vital signs on-site.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Interact professionally with patients and coworkers; respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities.

You Will:

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
