Job summary

RadNet in Rockville, MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a radiology-forward setting. You will administer injections, monitor patients, draw lab specimens, and respond to adverse events while upholding patient privacy and safety standards.

This on-site role requires an active RN license, ACLS, and a nursing degree. You’ll work with a collaborative team to deliver high-quality care and support patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license for the state.
• ACLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
• Perform post-biopsy vital sign checks.
• Access central lines/ports and initiate IV access.
• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
• Respond to hypersensitivity reactions and provide initial assessments.
• Protect patient information and safeguard medications on site.

You Will:

• Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.


• Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.


• Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.


• Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.


• Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.


• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.


• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.


• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.


• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.


• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
