Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Staff RN III in the Atlanta area to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders, following state guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role requires a valid Georgia RN license, ACLS within 1 year, and at least two years of RN experience after orientation.

Typical schedule features 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) with rotating shifts and a 6:30 AM–6:30 PM style pattern, including on-call requirements and holiday

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
• Certified in American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Maintains scope of practice as defined by Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Independently performs nursing duties with accountability for patient care and safety.
