Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires a nursing degree and Georgia RN licensure in good standing, with BLS certification. Preference given to candidates with BSN and additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications in specific units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree (preferred).
• Two years of RN experience (preferred).
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical certifications (preferred).
• Visual color acuity depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Comply with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and the defined scope of practice.
