Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: Registered Nurse license in Georgia; completion of an approved RN program.
• Demonstrated ability to support Radiology and CCTA operations in a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; EMR navigation.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders, referrals, and patient history prior to radiology procedures.
• Establish IV access and administer contrast, medications, and emergency drugs as ordered.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen, and stability before, during, and after imaging.
• Assist radiologists and technologists with imaging procedures and patient care.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education and discharge instructions.
• Document patient outcomes and adverse events in the EMR.
