Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to independently plan and provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines. This role supports cardiac/critical care and IR settings with on-call responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have ACLS certification within 1 year of employment and at least two years of full-time RN experience, preferably in cardiac/ER/ICU settings, and be a Georgia-licensed RN.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
• Certified in ACLS within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Respond within 30 minutes when called in during on-call rotations.
• Rotate shifts and maintain staffing balance to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams across units.
