Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Radiology department in Jersey City Medical Center. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, and collaboration with physicians to ensure coordinated care.

Strong communication and clinical judgment are essential in this fast-paced setting. Applicants must have an active NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing or enrollment in a BSN

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS certification.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required or actively enrolled in a BSN program.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes to intervene early.
Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
Collaborate with physicians and providers to support timely, coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and readiness for next steps.
