Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for on-site care in Paramus, NJ. You will assess patients, establish IV access, and deliver IV medications during radiology procedures, with vigilant monitoring throughout pre- and post-procedure phases.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, BSN preferred or in progress, with BLS, IV, ACLS, and 2+ years of clinical experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this setting.

Qualifications

• Current NJ RN license is required.
• BLS & IV certification required.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience required.
• Radiology nursing care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Speaks and writes English as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and establish IV access for contrast and IV fluids.
• Deliver IV contrast or IV medications including sedation per radiologist order.
• Monitor vital signs during procedures and recovery.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor post-procedure status.
• Coordinate care between radiology and other departments.
• Assist in scheduling Interventional Procedures and CTA exams.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities and staff training.
• Maintain room cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
