Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Registered Professional Nurse in Atlanta to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines. The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group and adhere to hospital policies and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires a BSN, GA RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit-specific credentials preferred. Color vision varies by unit and shifts.

Qualifications

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. 1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
4. BSN degree
5. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
6. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
7. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
