Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include managing care for an assigned group of patients and adhering to Northside Hospital policies while delivering high-quality nursing services across units.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed as the RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Must hold BLS certification.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
  • Preferred: ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other clinical specialty certifications.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Licensed as the RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

  1. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
