Job summary

Northside Hospital seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group in alignment with hospital philosophy and policies.

Required: graduate of an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure in good standing, BLS, and at least 2 years in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients following Northside Hospital policies and nursing foundations.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. REQUIRED

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
4. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.

PREFERRED

1. BSN degree
2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
