Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to assigned patients in Atlanta. Duties include planning, coordinating, and delivering care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in Georgia, and possess a BLS certification. BSN is preferred, with at least two years of RN experience and any advanced life support credentials beneficial for unit

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• BSN degree is required.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other unit-specific certifications.
• Visual color acuity required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and delivers professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients in alignment with hospital philosophy and policies.
• Collaborates with the team to ensure quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

5. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
6. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
7. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
