Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse in Georgia to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires adherence to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards.

The nurse manages care for an assigned patient group in alignment with Northside Hospital’s philosophy emphasizing collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Preferred: Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages care for an assigned group of patients per Northside Hospital policies and philosophy.
