Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. in Smyrna, GA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to independently plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines, within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold a Georgia RN license in good standing, and be BLS certified; two years of RN experience preferred. BSN and ACLS/PALS NRPs preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree (preferred).
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications in specific units (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Deliver quality care consistent with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
