Job summary

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Radiology Pre and Post team. This 32-hour-per-week role offers a weekday day shift and opportunities to support neurovascular, CT and ultrasound procedures.

You will provide pre, intra, and post care, collaborate with physicians, meet licensure requirements, and complete cardiac dysrhythmias testing as required. Eligibility for full-time benefits is noted.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Associates degree preferred; RN pathway completed.
• Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test (as applicable).

What You'll Do

Job Responsibilities:

• Pre, intra, and post care given to patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures
• Pre, intra, and post care given to patients undergoing CT and Ultrasound patients undergoing invasive procedures
• Cardiolite Stress Test Procedures
• Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures. Strong team skills are a must
• Call requirement
• Eligible for full-time benefits

What We're Looking For

• Education:High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• Experience: IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures required. IF RN: Minimum one year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures required.
• Licensure/certification/registration: IF RT(R): ARRT required. IF RN: state RN license required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
