Job summary

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a remarkable acute care team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, partner with physicians and nurses, and deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-tech setting.

ARRT certification or RCIS, one year of radiology experience, and strong communication skills are required. High school diploma mandatory; associate degree preferred.

• Prior Cath Lab or Interventional Procedure experience

What We're Looking For

• Education:High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiology program or a certified/accredited/JCERT hospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Associates degree required beginning January, 2015 required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology required. One year previous interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: ARRT and CPR required. Applicable state licensure as required. CI, CV, VI or military health system program preferred.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Thorough knowledge of interventional procedure and activity.
