Job summary

Novant Health's Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse to provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role offers a day-shift schedule (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) with part-time status and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. If RN: graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• Experience: RN: minimum one year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures.
• Licensure/Registration: state RN license required.
• Additional skills: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures.
• Care for patients undergoing invasive procedures in CT and ultrasound.
• Support patients undergoing Cardiolite stress test procedures.
• Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members throughout the patient care process.
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Participate in the department's required call rotation.
• Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. IF RT(R): Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and currently registered by ARRT. IF RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license.
• Experience: IF RT(R): Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures required. IF RN: Minimum one year Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Interventional Procedures required.
• Licensure/certification/registration: IF RT(R): ARRT required. IF RN: state RN license required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing. IF RN: Pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.
