Job summary

Novant Health is hiring for a Neurovascular Interventional professional to provide specialized care before, during, and after procedures. You will scrub for diagnostic cerebral angiograms, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, and other neurovascular procedures while maintaining sterile technique.

Minimum one year Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS certification, and ability to pass competency testing are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program resulting in certification OR graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program and ARRT registration.
• Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures experience.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT or RCIS is required.
• Ability to complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing; RN applicants should pass Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care before, during, and after neurointerventional and neurovascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic cerebral angiograms, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, embolization procedures, and other neurovascular interventions while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Continuously assess, document, and communicate patient status changes throughout neuro procedures, responding to emergent and critical situations.
• Collaborate with neurointerventional physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams as a clinical resource to support high-quality neurovascular care.

What We Offer

• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:30am-5pm, one wknd call every 5 weeks and one call during week

Provides care to patients undergoing neurovascular, peripheral vascular, and interventional procedures and vascular procedures.

Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

• Provide specialized patient care before, during, and after neurointerventional and neurovascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic cerebral angiograms, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, embolization procedures, and other neurovascular interventions while maintaining sterile techniques.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of one year Cath Lab or Interventional Procedures, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
