Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Radiologic Assistant to support physician teams by importing and exporting digital images for clinic and operating room needs. You will process requests from outside physician groups, attorneys, worker’s compensation and insurance carriers as well as all patient requests and bill appropriately.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30 pm, a full-time position based at the Woodlake Campus in Woodbury, MN, with flexibility to float to other locations as needed,

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• 1 year health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physician teams by importing and exporting digital images using multiple application simultaneously.
• Digitize external patient records and archive existing Summit film records.
• Understand and maintain current medical records and archives them to meet Federal standards of documentation. Process all medical records requests within guidelines and scope of HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure quality assurance inspections of equipment and devices are performed.
• Document work processes as needed.
• Order and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Other jobs and duties as directed by the Clinic Supervisor.
