Job summary

Summit Orthopedics seeks a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays across multiple campuses in the Twin Cities area. The role requires ARRT registration, graduation from an accredited program, and a willingness to cover shifts between 7:30 am and 8 pm.

The Radiologic Technologist prepares patients for radiologic procedures, takes x-rays following established procedures to assist in the diagnosis and/or treatment of patients.

This is a casual, Radiologic Technologist position providing primary services at our North and East campuses. Must have availability to cover shifts between 7:30am and 8pm. Primary campuses will be Blaine, Forest Lake, Vadnais Heights, Woodlake and Hastings. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with current ARRT registration.

• Fluent in digital radiology technology.
• Possess advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Outlook, and EMR.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
• Medical office and exam room settings.
• Frequent contact with variety of people.

Summit's hiring range for this position is $32.60 to $40.75 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Qualifications

Education

Associates of Radiologic Technology (required)

Experience

• 1 year in a health care setting preferred.
• Courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, preferred. (preferred)
• 1 years: One to three years of experience as X-ray technologist, preferably in physician practice environment.
• Associate's degree in radiological technology from accredited radiography program.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required. (preferred)
