Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Radiology Front Desk/Film Library coordinator to manage film libraries and front desk operations. The role supports radiology workflows, dictation, and critical results notification, while ensuring accurate film and CD handling.

The candidate will assist imaging technologists, maintain PACS/RadNet knowledge, and rotate front desk duties across several outpatient and inpatient areas. Strong customer service and healthcare terminology are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience in Radiology or Medical Records preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Film Library and front desk.
• Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospital's mission, values and strategic plan.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of the Cerner RadNet application (Scheduling, film loan, order entry, CD/film management).
• Supports radiology workflow and dictation, critical results notification, and unread exam workflow.
• Maintains PACS knowledge and troubleshoots to locate patient image files.
• Rotates front desk reception across multiple areas including MRI and nuclear medicine.
• Provides excellent customer telephone support and ensures customer satisfaction.
