Responsibilities

• Communicates imaging findings to caregivers and verifies critical findings.
• Transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or neuro chair.
• Creates electronic files for release of information to authorized individuals.
• Manages imaging exam workflow for interpreters and audits pending results.
• Performs daily workstation inspections and coordinates with Radiology IT.
• Greets patients, verifies prescriptions with providers, and schedules appointments as needed.
• Answers department and reading room phones and provides follow-up.
