Radiology Imaging Associates / Invision Sally Jobe in Englewood, CO is seeking a Pre-Authorization Specialist to manage complex radiology service authorizations. This role requires expertise in payer guidelines and workflows to ensure timely approvals and minimize denials.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in prior authorization processes. You will secure authorizations, collaborate with referring providers, and analyze payer trends to prevent delays while ensuring HIPAA and payer policy

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of medical field experience, radiology preferred.
• Deep knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid payer policies and authorization requirements.
• Experience with EHR, RIS, and payer portals.

Responsibilities

• Secure prior authorizations from commercial and government payers per guidelines.
• Identify and resolve authorization issues to prevent delays in patient care.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation for approvals.
• Analyze payer trends to identify common denial reasons and implement proactive solutions.
• Work with billing and denial management teams to resolve denials and appeals.
• Maintain relationships with insurance representatives and document all authorization activities.
• Suggest workflow improvements to reduce turnaround times and ensure HIPAA compliance.
